Novolex has completed its $6.7 billion acquisition of Pactiv Evergreen, creating a leader in food, beverage, and specialty packaging. Under the deal, Pactiv Evergreen's stock was delisted, and shareholders received $18.00 per share in cash. The combined company, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, will operate under the Novolex name, offering over 250 brands and 39,000 SKUs across North America and Europe. The merger strengthens Novolex's position in the packaging industry, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. Mike King, former CEO of Pactiv Evergreen, will serve as an advisor to Novolex.
